Community Leader
Stav is an award-winning performance maker, interdisciplinary artist, researcher and educator. Bringing her talents, skills and background to the education world, Stav is the Founding Director and Head Educator of Dreamcoat Experience, a nonprofit organization for experiential, arts-driven Jewish Education. In 2025, Stav joined the Havurah’s team, to lead regular events within the Havurah’s calendar.
David Djemal
Community Leader
David grew up in Jerusalem, works as a Chazan at New London synagogue, and teaches on their bnei mitzvah programme. He also teaches at West London synagogue, as well as teaching private bnei mitzvah students.
David is a musician and actor who brings great energy and enthusiasm to the Havurah. David joins us at Shabbat Babokers and Chagim.
Rabbi Oliver Spike Joseph
Community Rabbi
Rabbi Oliver Spike Joseph is the founding Rabbi of the Havurah and was our Rabbi for over five years. We now benefit from his presence as a member and his support with halacha (religious law) and adult learning, as well as when community members need pastoral care and during life events.
Rabbi Oliver qualified as a Rabbi in Los Angeles at the Zeigler School for Rabbinic Studies and studied at the Conservative Yeshiva and Hartman Institute in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University.
